HUGH WINTERBOTTOM

Hugh Winterbottom is a successful artist based in Oldham, In 2008 Hugh started to share a studio in Woodend Mill, Mossley. This move was perfect for him to concentrate on his Artwork. However it is also a great space to work due to the fantastic light and the ability to just turn up and simply concentrate on his painting.

He had a very successful Solo Exhibition at Salford City Art Gallery in May 2015. Where the theme of the exhibition was to paint from the centre of Manchester outwards to the surrounding towns. Villages and country side. Hugh has also seen success with the use of his Paintings from this Exhibition now being used for various Greeting Cards.

Due to the success of the Salford City Art Gallery Exhibition. He has been focusing on a fantastic new body of work which has great impact with stunning composition & striking colours.
